Order Processing and Domestic Shipping

This section outlines the procedures and timelines for handling your order from the moment you click "purchase" until it is dispatched from our facility.

Order Processing Time:

  • All orders for in-stock items are typically processed within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) will begin processing the following business day.

  • Orders are packaged with care to protect our delicate raw herbs and cold-pressed oils.

 

Domestic Shipping (Within India):

  • We partner with reputable third-party logistics providers to ensure reliable and efficient delivery across India.

  • Estimated Delivery Time: Once shipped, orders generally take 3-7 business days to arrive, depending on the destination pin code and the chosen service level. Rural or remote areas may require additional time.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and the delivery location. Free shipping may be offered periodically based on promotional thresholds.

 

Order Tracking:

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email notification containing the tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website.

  • Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active in the carrier's system.

Shipping Delays, Liability, and Undeliverable Orders

While we strive for perfection, factors outside our control can affect delivery. This section clarifies our policy regarding unforeseen issues.

Shipping Delays:

  • Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Rudra Foods is not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier, extreme weather events, natural disasters, or public disruptions. We will, however, assist you in tracking and following up on significantly delayed shipments.

  • If a product is backordered or is expected to have a significant delay, we will notify you immediately via email with the option to wait or cancel the order for a full refund.

 

Risk of Loss and Title:

  • The risk of loss and title for all items purchased passes to you, the purchaser, upon our delivery of the items to the shipping carrier. This means we are not responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, or stolen after they leave our facility and are successfully transferred to the carrier.

 

Undeliverable Packages:

  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or if the recipient refuses the package, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges plus the cost incurred to reship the package.

  • If the customer chooses not to reship the order, a refund will be issued for the product cost only, minus the original shipping fees and any return charges incurred by Rudra Foods.

International Shipping and Policy Contact

This final section addresses international orders and provides key contact information for shipping inquiries.

International Shipping:

  • Currently, Rudra Foods focuses primarily on serving customers within India.

  • We do not offer standard international shipping options at this time.

  • For bulk international inquiries or special requests, please contact us directly via email to discuss potential arrangements and costs. Please note that any agreed-upon international shipment will require the customer to be responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country.
